At first, I told myself, this is far too intuitive of a problem to solve that it doesn’t need a whole video on the topic. Then I started to hear other people ask questions, which made me realize there are other people out there who deal with this problem as much as I do. So I figured I’d make it for anyone who hasn’t been able to figure this out.

Step 1) Take out the little allen wrench that comes with the nailer, if you don’t have it find one that fits the bolts on the top rail near the tip of the nailer.

Step 2) Loosen the two rail bolts until you hear an audible POP. This is allowing a spring-loaded mechanism to release which takes pressure off of the nail.

Step 3) Tighten the two rail bolts

Step 4) Nail away!
